If you are interested in learning more about the art conservation field and how to possibly become a conservator this is an affordable way to do so. This group has monthly meetings with invited speakers so it's a great way for young people to network with professionals in the area.
I serve as the WCG Fellow/Intern/Volunteer coordinator and organize tours of conservation labs as well as happy hour events during the Sept-May calendar year. Our next tour will be at the conservation department of the National Holocaust Memorial Museum so feel free to email k-deghetaldi@nga.gov if you want to learn more.

The Emerging Museum Conservation Professionals Network is a great resource for students and professionals in the field and for those trying to find out how to get into the field. Check out the website.
